Berlin Housing Project, Berlin, Germany

EBA performed major analysis documrnting and design services for the U.S. Department of State on 84-site project in Berlin, Germany.

This project included the following serviices:

• Detailed Construction Cost Analysis
• Video Taping (Documentation)
• Life Cycle Costing
• Value Engineering
• Complex Cost Models
• Alternative Design Projections

Specifically, this project condidyed of an intensive investigation of 84 houses in Berlin. We inspected the dwellings for all of the physical conditions of the building system including: structural, mechanical, plumbing, and architectural, system. EBA provided design concepts for expansion of these dewllings, cost analysis estimates, scheduling project phasing, outline specifications and photographic documentation. This project inclued not only a large number of dwellings but quite a wide variety of prototypes, sizes and condition within each one. Mangement, coordination, planning and design, and construction experience were all factors in the project execution and deliverables.
