The Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) Inter-County Connector (ICC) is a major new thoroughfare designed to support vehicular traffic between Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties in Maryland. EBA was a sub consultant to URS Corporation on the ICC projects.
ICC WEST FACILITY OPERATIONS CENTER: This 3,000 SF Operations Center in Gaithersburg, MD was the pivotal component to the opening of the new highway and provides support for SHA maintenance employees and other personnel. As a member of the project team, EBA produced design documents, construction documents, and performed construction administration services for the project.
ICC EAST FACILITY OPERATIONS CENTER: This LEED Silver 30,000 SF Operations Center in Laurel, MD provides support for SHA maintenance employees, other personnel, and Maryland State law enforcement officers. As part of the project team, EBA performed architectural design and construction document services for the interior to include: floor plans, interior elevations, details, partition types, finish schedule, color selections and material boards, and specifications in CSI format.
