The proposed Errera Community Care Center is planned as a free standing one-story leased off-campus facility to house Mental Health, Substance Abuse, and Primary Care services, as well as office space for National Programs, all supporting the parent facility VA Connecticut Healthcare System, West Haven CT.
This project proposes the lease of 45,000 Net Usable SF. The design is based on the extent possible on the CBOC prototypes developed by the VA, with modifications to meet the specific needs of the facility. The Errera Center is unique among VA facilities and upon making the design modifications, an effort has been made to achieve standardization in common areas such as the lobby, reception, and service areas with the intent of establishing a common branding for all such VA facilities.
