The Prince George’s County Administration Building Parking Garage is a three level structure with pedestrian walkways surrounding the Prince George’s County Administration Building. EBA was a part of the design team retained to develop a design and construction document package for the renovation of the county parking structure. The scope included development of plans and specifications for the garage proper, connecting links to the pedestrian walkway, vehicular access ramps between floors, and four stair towers along the perimeter of the structure. The renovation and restoration effort included railing replacement, updating the fire-protection system, providing new lighting within the facility to meet current building and safety codes, the design of new replacement stair “A” and structural modifications necessary to ensure continued use and safety to the public.
